A full day in Shkodër, one of Albania's oldest cities, exploring its castle, mosque, and photography museum.

- Climb up to Rozafa Castle for panoramic views over the city and rivers
- Visit the Lead Mosque, a striking Ottoman-era landmark
- Traditional lunch in Shkodër

Day 3: Theth, Into the Albanian Alps
Into the heart of the Albanian Alps, exploring Theth National Park and hiking to the dramatic Grunas Waterfall.
What We'll Do
- Scenic mountain drive from Shkodër to Theth, with a coffee stop along the way
- Arrival in Theth and included lunch surrounded by peaks
- Hike to the Grunas Waterfall, crossing streams along a rocky path
- Visit the Lock-in Tower, a remnant of the historic Kanun tradition
- Dinner and overnight in Theth village
Day 4: Valbonë, Peaks & Valleys
The legendary Theth-Valbonë crossing, Albania's most iconic mountain pass, available as a challenging hike or a scenic transfer.
What We'll Do
- Early morning coffee and breakfast before departure
- Hikers set off on the mountain pass, climbing to roughly 1,800 m
- Packed lunch and trailside snacks along the route (or during the transfer)
- Non-hikers take a scenic 4x4 transfer through the valleys instead
- Arrival in Valbonë by afternoon, with time to rest
- Dinner and overnight in Valbonë
Day 5: Pukë, Waterways
One of the most scenic boat rides in the Balkans, cruising across Komani Lake to the Fierza Reservoir.
What We'll Do
- Morning coffee before boarding the Komani Lake ferry
- Scenic ferry crossing through dramatic mountain gorges
- Included lunch with views over the lake
- Short stroll to the dock at journey's end

Day 6: Kukës, Rivers & Local Life
A quieter day exploring Kukës and its Migration Museum, with views over Fierza Lake.
